Taroko National Park

Today is a  very exciting day.when we play water in Taroko National Park. I was unlucky to slip down to the water and got wet. Although it is tried to take bus there, the park is worth to be play, and the diversity of animals and plants is amazing.

        Yesterday we made dumplings together. Basically I can make "Huntun"(a kind of dumplings, usually we have "Huntun" in South China), I am not able to make dumpling. But I made the dumplings which is popular in North China  yesterday with the BACT guys. It's an amazing experience to learn and eat dumplings with my friends from America. I think the dumplings is the most delicious food among our trip in Taiwan.
        Today We went to the National  Museum of Marine Science and Technology. It's a unique experience for me to see those deep sea animals.Although they are just specimens, they are still attactive to me. And I get a lot of knowledge about the marine creatures.
       When we go down to the sea this afternoon, the sea water is lukewarm and a little salty. I tried to look for some special kind of marine creatures, but I failed. We find seastar,  starfish, blue ring octopus and so on.
       Tomorrow we will leave Taipei for other places in next teo weeks, so we should pack our luggage very carefully.

Another tied day

        Another tied day that we should  walked so long. But the National Museum works are amazing for me. When I saw the jade cabbige and pork, I was shocked by the skills of carving (jade carvings, stone carvings), painting and crafts is well known becausedits superb artistry, unique style.
        The lecture about the traditional food is very intertesting, and we all like Taiwanese traditional food more than others. Because I think traditional ones are more typical.
        All the things here are full of diversity, food, drinks, fruit, mamal, insects, etc.
      

The fourth day

       We went to Yangmingshan National park on the fourth day of our trip. One of the seven national parks in Taiwan, the Yangmingshan National Park is located at Taipei City. The National Park is famous for its cherry blossoms (spring) and hot springs (winter), which explains why summer is probably the worst time to visit YMS.

                                                                                          Xiaoyukeng

           Xiaoyukeng is a sulfur pit located near the Qixing mountain. You can listen to the bursting sound of gas and smell the odor of sulfur. It is quite a scenic spot for wedding and bridal photography but you have to bear with the foul odour of sulfur.

 Thermal Valley

          When arrived at the Beitou Hot Spring Museum and Thermal Valley, I found it is an amazing scenery that attracts me so much.
          Although I'm tired for getting up early and climbing the Mt. Yangmingshan, I still feel excited.
          All the places we have been are wellworth to be visited again.

"I'm full"

For these two days, I have enjoyed so many local snacks of Taiwan. Because of all kinds of delicious food, I thinkTaiwanese lead a very happy life.
Yesterday I went to the night market around gongguan with my new friends. Although  it is so hot that all of us sweat like a pig, we still tasted most snacks, such as Pigs blood cake, mango with milk ice,etc.

Today we had lectures that explained why Taiwan is a biodiversity place and what is insect.
Taiwan is a very wonderful island with its  particular culture . It has many culture, salient features, delicous snacks and even the weather.
